Step Into a World of Musical Possibilities
Experience Joy and Connection While Making Music With Others Who Understand You
Sing. Move. Belong.
Strength in Every Note
Allora is an inclusive vocal group based in Brisbane, created for singers and dancers of all abilities who want to find their voice, move like a summer breeze, connect with others, and experience the joy of making music together.
We believe that music speaks when words can’t – and here at Allora, every voice and movement matters. Whether you’ve sung on stages or only in the shower, there’s a place for you, whether you’ve danced on stages or only in the lounge room, there is a place for you. Our rehearsals are filled with laughter, encouragement, and purpose. We celebrate difference, welcome uniqueness, and build confidence through song.
Our group is intentionally small and connected, ensuring that every member feels seen, heard, and supported. Allora isn’t about being perfect – it’s about being present, powerful, and proud of everyone’s journey.
What Does 'Allora' Mean?
Allora (pronounced ah-LAW-rah) is an Italian word that loosely translates to “so then…” or “and so…” It’s a word of transition, of stepping forward.
We chose this name because Allora represents a new beginning, a turning point, a deep breath before the music starts. Every time you say “Allora,” you’re stepping into possibility.
Inclusivity at Our Core
At Allora, all abilities welcomed – they are celebrated. Whether you move differently, learn uniquely, communicate in your own way, you are welcome here.
We’re committed to creating an environment that is safe, supportive, and adaptive. If you have any accessibility needs, please let us know – we will always do our best to meet you where you are.
